WRECKFEST At Champions – 28.08.10

WreckfestReview

Champions venue has undergone some serious changes since I was last there and all are for the best! The corner stage and the table between the pillars have gone, only to be replaced with a brand new stage at the rear of the venue. This gives more room for punters to see the bands and the bands an easier time for setting up their instruments, as the stage is right next to the dressing room. New sound and lighting system is in effect and with a few minor tweaks will kick ass! This is a major display of intent from the venue to be taken seriously as a genuine contender on the Dorset live music scene. With some major names lined up to play, I can only see this place going from strength to strength.

A Guide To… Death Metal

Hopefully this guide to will ease fears, bring new people into the genre and make people already into it rub their hands with glee that someone is willing to write about it!
